High Power D80 - Versions

The High Power D80 connector is available in two different versions with passive or active cooling. Generally, only freestanding fibers and ferrules made of copper alloys with good thermal conductivity properties are used. The heat sink is dimensioned performance-related. The complete assembly is mounted twist and stress free, but mechanically very stable. The ferrule components are guaranteed free of adhesives.

D80 connectors are used for power up to 1000 watts. Available depending on the requirements in the following Versions:

  • Defined length of the mode stripping
  • Air or water cooling
  • End cap to reduce the power density
  • Monitoring of fiber breakage, connector temperature and connectivity
